Jahna Cedar OAM is a proud Nyiyaparli woman from the Pilbara region of Western Australia, with ancestral ties to the Bardi Gija people of the Kimberley. She is a highly respected First Nations leader, Managing Director of Jahna Cedar Consulting, Deputy Chair of the Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation, Deputy Chair of the Lowitja Institute, and Co-Chair of First Nations X.

With more than 28 years’ experience across governance, leadership, business, human resources and Indigenous economic development, Jahna has held executive and board roles across health, education, research, investment, community development and Indigenous enterprise. She has represented First Nations voices on the global stage, including addressing the United Nations in New York four times.

Jahna is a TEDx speaker, founding Blak Angel Investor, and strong advocate for Indigenous entrepreneurship, self-determination and economic empowerment. Her leadership has been recognised through numerous accolades, including induction into the WA Women’s Hall of Fame, the Telstra Businesswomen’s Award, the Medal of the Order of Australia, and the Australian Awards for Excellence in Women’s Leadership.
