Shaping a New Narrative: Indigenous Growth and Economic Self-Determination
This session will discuss what IPP reform should look like, what are strong benchmarks internationally, and how do we bring the conversation up to where the sector is at NOW. A growing Indigenous middle-class and second generation entrepreneurs are undertaking strong businesses initiatives and maintaining a focus on social impact at the same time.
The panel will speak to scaling businesses, access to capital and the realities of growth, collaboration, international learnings, second generation entrepreneurs and diluting equity for growth. The panel will focus on what is working and what is not. Developing clear advice that can inform government and corporate procurement strategies, policy development and Indigenous engagement strategies.
