Tammy O’Connor

Tammy O'Connor is a Nyiyaparli and Palyku woman from Marble Bar in Western Australia’s Pilbara region, with family connections to the Kariyarra and Ngarluma peoples. She is the Founder and Managing Director of KingKira Group, a 100% Aboriginal female-owned company delivering environmental, waste management and industrial services across Western Australia.

Drawing on extensive experience in education, community engagement, mining operations and business management, Tammy has grown KingKira into a leading Indigenous-owned enterprise while championing Aboriginal employment, community development, and sustainable business practices. Widely recognised for her leadership and advocacy for Pilbara communities, she was awarded Supply Nation’s Indigenous Businesswoman of the Year at the 2025 Supplier Diversity Awards.
