Richard Tester is a proud Noongar man with a background in engineering, and the Founder and Managing Director of Red Invest Capital Holdings, an Indigenous-owned business group working across construction, engineering, recruitment, energy, architecture and asset management.
Having worked in senior roles for German engineering company ThyssenKrupp, coupled with valuable experience gained in Qatar and Europe, Richard has built a strong network of businesses including Red Arrow Australia (labour hire and recruitment), RASP Australia (engineering, design and survey), Ironstone Australia (major civil and electrical construction), Green Arrow Energy (renewables and battery energy solutions), Radian Architecture (architectural design and planning) and SAMSA Australia (plant and equipment management), delivering projects across Australia.
Richard’s philosophy is centred on creating genuine opportunities for Aboriginal people to thrive, guided by one philosophy: “Our people don’t just deserve a seat at the table, but an opportunity to design and build the table.”
Through initiatives such as the ADAPT Program, he remains committed to Indigenous employment, mentoring and long-term leadership pathways.
