NSW Department of Education

The First Nations Engagement in School Infrastructure (FNESI) is a program to increase the involvement of Aboriginal businesses, people and communities in the maintenance of school and educational facilities.

FNESI manages programs for more than 2,000 public schools and educational facilities across NSW.

The FNESI team works to develop skills and create opportunities for young Indigenous people to take up apprenticeships and traineeships, as well as supporting a talent pipeline of First Nations staff.
