Sheridan Teitzel is the Founder and Principal Consultant at Arnya Consulting. With over a decade of in-community experience, she has a strong focus on social and economic policy development.

Sheridan blends Indigenous knowledge with contemporary business strategies, drawing on her experience and multiple qualifications in community services and business. Honoured with the Indigenous High Achiever’s Award in 2023, she is also the recipient of the prestigious Monica Clare Research Fellowship, where she develops frameworks for Indigenous plant medicine to enhance the understanding and integration of traditional knowledge into modern practices.

Sheridan has provided strategic planning, cultural consulting, digital development, and media creation services to a range of organisations, including early childhood education providers, research projects, and non-profit organisations. Based in Weipa, Cape York, she works closely with local Elders to ensure her services are culturally relevant and impactful. Her connections to the Alngith, Mbaiwum, and Wik clan groups, along with affiliations to the Iman and Yuggera nations, deeply inform her practice.

By integrating Indigenous perspectives with modern business strategies, Sheridan aims to foster growth, inclusivity, and sustainability, empowering organisations and communities to drive innovation and development for a better future for all.
