Matthew Rogister

Matthew Rogister has built a career in operational, hospitality, and event management over the past 25 years, drawing on his relationship management skills and reputation as a trusted advisor.

Throughout his career, working across multiple states and territories in both regional and urban areas, he has always focused on building teams with diverse skills and capabilities.

In 2019, he joined Broadspectrum (now Ventia), working in Defence Base Services in the Northern Territory before moving to South Australia. In both locations, he was proactive in supporting and developing First Nations participation from both employment and procurement perspectives. In his current role, he drives initiatives to meet KPIs, engage with First Nations suppliers and delivery partners, as well as a program of business engagement and support. Through this work, he has travelled the state, developing strong relationships with First Nations businesses to support their inclusion in Ventia’s supply chain and seeking ways to grow the sector in both Metro Adelaide and regional and remote areas.

Matthew says his approach has always been to listen and learn, then devise strategies to best achieve engagement and growth for First Nations businesses.
