Liam Harte

Liam Harte, a Saltwater Freshwater man from the Dunghutti area of coastal Northern NSW, is a purpose-driven Aboriginal leader. As co-founder and CEO of GIRA Advisory (GIRA), Liam is committed to creating strategic initiatives through First Nations-centred design that blend cultural knowledge with sustainable business solutions, fostering economic growth and environmental stewardship.

GIRA, led by highly experienced First Nations practitioners, supports clients in the renewable energy sector through First Nations community engagement, relationship establishment and resetting, agreement making, and land tenure and access, with a focus on cultural heritage assessment. GIRA values equal participation and shared responsibility, aiming to create meaningful connections. They act as independent advisers to government, Traditional Custodians, industry bodies, and interested parties.

Liam serves as a Board Member of the NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce, advocating for the growth and independence of Indigenous businesses. Liam is a graduate of the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, which underpin his strategic business leadership.
