Te Taurapa Tūhono | New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) is the New Zealand government’s international business development agency. Their job is to support exporters in order to grow a productive, sustainable and inclusive economy.

They are guided by two Māori values that have promoted collective wellbeing, sustainable development and collaboration in New Zealand for centuries.

Manaakitanga is a way of striving to enhance the mana in everything they do, by showing respect, generosity and hospitality. It guides all of their interactions and helps them bring out the best in each other.

Kaitiakitanga is the responsibility they have to care for people and places on behalf of future generations. It guides their advice to businesses and their international activities, and helps them express to the world what’s special about Aotearoa New Zealand.
