Stella de Cos is a Lower Southern Arrernte woman born in Canberra on Ngunnawal country, with family ties to the central desert region in Alice Springs and down to Oodnadatta in South Australia.

She is the Director of the Community and Customer Experience directorate at Indigenous Business Australia (IBA), where her key focus is enhancing IBA’s customer journey while leveraging Business, Investments, and Home Ownership products and services to foster economic participation and empowerment, creating long-term impact.

Stella previously led IBA’s Business Solutions program, which supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in accessing financial products and services. During this time, she supported the development and delivery of several business finance products and support initiatives, including activating the Indigenous sector to build corporate supply chains in the construction and civil works sectors. Stella has a strong understanding of Federal and State Government procurement policies and supplier diversity.

Stella utilises her experience in creating financial solutions that grow Indigenous economic empowerment and leverages government policy and agendas to support self-determination, decision-making, and the autonomy of First Nations people.
