Glenn Johnston is a Burramatta man and nationally recognised procurement expert with over 25 years of experience in procurement and logistics management across various industries, leading companies, and government. Currently, he is the Director of Procurement and Business Support at Infrastructure NSW.

Glenn is passionate about advancing Indigenous businesses, believing that their growth will create more opportunities for employment and foster a more inclusive economy. In recognition of his contributions, Glenn received the Procurement Professional of the Year Award at Connect 2016’s Supplier Diversity Awards. He is a Fellow (Chartered status) of CIPS, Chair of the NSW Chapter of CIPS, Board Member of the AIATSIS Foundation, and Director and Chair of NSW Aboriginal Land Council Employment & Training Ltd.

In 2016, Glenn participated in the Jawun program, spending six weeks with the Aboriginal community of Lockhart River, Far North Queensland. He worked with local leaders to develop a framework aimed at reducing reliance on welfare by building small businesses and promoting self-determination through economic opportunities. This experience highlighted the importance of preserving Indigenous culture through language, songlines, music, dance, and art.
